I loved meeting this sweet family at one of my favorite locations. Thirteen years ago my husband and I were married in the Martha-Mary Chapel across from this Grist Mill. It’s a quintessential New England setting and what better time to photograph there than fall!

They were so amazing to work with. Two big kids + baby + two dogs isn’t always a recipe for success but they had such a relaxed way about them, it put my camera at ease too. We had a fun time exploring the grounds while exploring their connections with each other. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know each child’s distinct personality. These kids had a beautiful curiosity and joyfulness about them as well as a tenderness towards each other.

I hope these parents have added a child or dog to the family the next time I see them because this session was WAY too easy (considering). 😉 Plus the world just needs more of their kind.
