A film can take anywhere from 20-30hrs (sometimes longer) to create! Video requires a great deal of time editing, much more time than it takes for photos. There's also the cost ($250) to license a music soundtrack. While it might seem expensive, I promise your film's worth will only increase in value each year as you rewatch the memories of your life today.

Outdoor family sessions are typically scheduled from mid-April to mid-Dec. At-home, Day in Your Life films, First Day and newborn sessions are scheduled year-round. The best time to photograph newborns is 2-6 weeks after birth when they’re the sleepiest but I’m happy to schedule well beyond that window! If your considering a maternity mini add-on, I recommend 32-36 weeks gestation for a first time mom and 30-34 weeks for moms who've been pregnant before. 

For any session, I’m usually booking 3-6 months in advance. For newborns that means the best time to contact me is a few months before your due date!

I'm sorry, no. I want to tell your fuller story and films are something I can uniquely offer my clients. I hope you'll give one a try but am happy to refer to other local photographers if you decide they aren't for you!

Yes! Two weeks before your session date, I’ll be sharing with you a Preparing For Your Session pdf with all kinds of tips including wardrobe. It should answer every burning question you might have. I also subscribe to Style & Select (click here) which you'll have full access to. It's most important to me that you wear what feels right and most authentically you...clothes you can relax, cuddle, play and dance in! 

I’ll email a link to your private photo gallery 1-2 weeks after our session. You can order prints, download and even share to social media direct from there! A film can take 10-20 hours to edit depending on the length and will arrive 2-3 weeks later.

For the truest color and longest-lasting prints, I recommend ordering your session prints direct through your gallery. Your order is fulfilled by my preferred professional lab, at no markup (i.e. I make no profit from your prints). Pro labs print on higher quality printers and paper. If you’d prefer to spend a little less on lesser quality prints, then I recommend uploading your images to MPix – the best consumer print lab I’ve found. Just promise me you won't walk your files into a Walgreens or Costco! Oh the horror! ;-)

I ask for a $250 deposit to hold your date and will invoice the balance after you’ve received your gallery and film. I accept checks and all major credit cards.
