This past year I trained as a Legacy Video coach with Inheritance of Hope. I first learned about this faith-based organization from a Chiaroscuro client—their mission is to support families facing terminal illness through support groups, family retreats, Legacy Videos, and more (inheritanceofhope.org). Their mission aligns so closely with my passion work with Chiaroscuro, and I knew it would train my heart for the dear families and projects ahead.

Last month I spoke with Ellie Ledin, Creative Brand Manager at Inheritance of Hope, about how to hold space for people facing their own or a loved one’s death. We discussed mindset, how to lean into (not away from) grief, and practical ways to offer support.
