It was such a joy reuniting with this sweet family. I photographed their son as a newborn! Three years later, they moved and welcomed a daughter. Seeing them again felt like starting right where we left off. They have such a warm, welcoming way about them.

What made this session unique is that mine wasn’t the only camera in the room! Caitlin Wall (Photography + Films) was filming me, film them! I’ve never seen myself in action and am so curious to have the perspective. I hope it gives potential clients a glimpse into what it feels like to work with me.

I’m convinced that if we’re not prepared to deeply care about (dare I say, love?) our clients, we have no right to their story. Only once we’ve proven we care do we earn the trust required to invite intimate connections and deeper revelations.

I hope this family felt deeply seen and tenderly carried through their session. It was such a joy bearing witness to all this love, and they gave me (and my business) a tremendous gift in turn.
