When “The boys love stuffies” is an understatement, you know you need to document it for posterity. 😄 I treasure this family and their bright, inquisitive boys. These are parents who truly revel in their kids and know how to enter into their imaginary worlds.
This week, when rebooking, mom wrote, “ I am reminded of you often since our boys look at our @themotionbooks all the time!!! Especially E, who likes to relax with it in a quiet moment, or if he needs to calm down he pulls it out.”
I truly believe kids need to see how their parents look at them and love on them. It’s rooting and re-centering! Family films reflect back to kids all the things they love about their family. In third person, they see themselves, their parents, and their siblings with fresh eyes.
The important thing is that your family films are accessible. I’m working hard to put a Motion Book in the hands of every client. I often hear from clients that their kids watch their film(s) on it over and over. It’s no secret that kids are drawn to moving images. But perhaps there’s more to it. I like to think that when your kids struggle to understand their place in a big world, a family film reminds them how important they are in their parents’.
If you haven’t already heard of The Motion Books, take this as your sign to go check them out. These are premium video books that allow you to relive your most meaningful memories in a tangible way. I can capture your special moments (and would be delighted to), but The Motion Books are what will enable you to hold them in your hands and make your family films truly accessible.
