Another season begins for me as it has for this beautiful family.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – a newborn session is something special. After the sibs have cuddled and tickled baby toes then tear out of the room, there falls this breathtaking stillness. As I gently coax mom and dad into the light I can see them breath deep and their tired eyes fill with such wonder. It’s powerful. That tiny incarnation of their love – the culmination of so many hopes and prayers.

This little guy has four hearts tangled all around him. He was a dream to photograph, bearing that third baby chillness I keep hearing about and never experienced. My camera could have feasted on him all day.
