Last summer our family had the fun opportunity to live abroad for a month while Dave worked from his company’s home offices in Stockholm. While we were on that side of the pond we traveled a bit with the girls. One of the most memorable days for me was this one in Holland. Maybe it was the magical Airbnb we were staying in, maybe it was the beautiful countryside surrounding it, maybe because every sense felt a little more heightened that day. I love that through video I have the chance to re-live the “feel” of it over and over.

After a full day my family fell right to sleep while I sat at a window and watched the day dissolve. I don’t remember a time I’ve ever been so still for so long or so absolutely overcome by the beauty of this amazing gift we call life.
