This smart, silly, lovable little guy was such fun to capture.
I’m raising two fairly sedate (at times comatose) daughters…which means everything I know about high-energy boys comes from thirteen years of photographing and filming them—it’s been an enlightening education. 😂
Things I’ve learned:
– Gravity is a suggestion, not a rule.
– Posing with their family? Optional. Running full speed at my camera? Mandatory.
– Volume control is for my mic; they don’t have one.
– Silence isn’t peace, it’s plotting.
– Photo sessions and parkour…basically the same.
I’ve also learned:
– Even the wildest boys have the softest hearts.
– Their curiosity is endless—every moment is a discovery.
– They love fiercely and without hesitation.
– Their confidence blooms the moment they’re seen and celebrated for exactly who they are.
– And no matter how big they grow or how fast they run…their mamas are still their safest place and their favorite thing in the whole world.
I may know nothing about raising sons, but boys in front of my camera? Pure, hilarious, unstoppable entertainment. 🤣💙
