Something Sacred | New Hampshire Family Photographer + Filmmaker

There’s something sacred about documenting the last days in a first home. Not just the walls and rooms, but the life that was built inside them. This film follows a couple as they prepare to leave their NH home—a home they poured themselves into through late-night renovations, thoughtful details, and years of ordinary, beautiful living.

I love that video captures what a home felt like, not just how it looked. The creak of the floors, the way light moved through the kitchen in the morning, the quiet rhythm of making breakfast together, the laughter tucked into unfinished projects and familiar corners. These are the things photographs can hint at, but video lets you step back inside and live there again for a moment.

This film was tender for me because Caitlin (@caitlinwallphoto, caitlinwall.com) is not only a friend, but a fellow filmmaker whose warmth and creativity have blessed so many people around her—myself included. Caitlin created the brand film for my business that I treasure deeply. While Colorado is lucky to have her talent, New England feels a little dimmer without her near.

Some homes hold stories. Some people do too. This film holds both.
