Traditions are happiness on repeat. One of our favorites takes us to Avalon, New Jersey each year. It’s a reunion of sorts. Friends we kicked around with as singles, converge on the Shore from all over the country. We pack as many memories as we can into a our time together, then say our goodbyes knowing it’s only a year before we get to do a week of life together again.

In my photography journey Avalon marks change and growth. It’s here I can slow down, breath deep and see moments with a clarity I sometimes struggle to in my day-to-day. As I look back on photos from each year, it’s a reminder of where I’ve been and how much room there is to grow. I love pursuing an art that keeps you humble because it knows no bounds.
