Now and then I meet a mama who feels like a soul sister and this was one of them. Minutes into meeting we were talking about her birth story and the challenging on-ramp to mothering two kids. She bared her beautiful soul to me with ease such that by the time big brother had eaten breakfast, the baby was changed and everyone was ready to roll, my heart was well in sync with hers.

I always leave a session a little better for it…I pray my clients do too. It’s a beautiful dance we’re in during our time together…them baring their hearts and me listening for their music.

It always and forever will be much more about the session for me than the photos. The photos are always secondary to a family feeling seen…known…loved. The pictures are only proof it happened.
