I’m always thrilled to film and photograph a couple while they’re still expecting. The babies I meet in utero and/or the hospital hold a special place in my heart. It’s not that they occupy more space in my heart than other kiddos I meet and celebrate. I just knew them when they were a twinkle.

This little twinkle is due June 2nd, and I get to meet him in the hospital! As I await the text telling me that he’s on his way, I can already imagine how over the moon these two will be. As we walked around Lynch Park one evening last month, they were already bursting with pride and anticipation.

What an adventure awaits them. Children shape us beautifully and in all the ways we need it most.

I can’t wait to combine the beautiful footage from this Lynch Park maternity session into their Fresh 48 film when the time comes!
