Early on in this photography journey, I flailed trying to create beauty with my camera. So foolish. I don’t create it…I just receive it. The beauty you see here I had very little to do with.
This family I knew only briefly before their move to Raleigh (where I recently visited my folks). After an hour an a half, I felt like I’d known them much longer. There are those families so connected, they make my job easy. This was one of those.
A family session is this amazing suspension in time. You’re outdoors, there are no dishes to do, no phone to check…only each other. I love that turning point in the session when they forget I’m even there, they’re so busy reveling in each other.
