Oh my heart, this family session. I didn’t want it to end.

On a cold wintery morning there’s nothing better than being warmed by a family and their love for one another. This little girl has two incredibly talented musicians for parents. When they put on classical music at the start of our session their beautiful home became an oasis. In that happy place they practiced presence while I hunted beauty. Inspiration was everywhere in our time together: their adorable baby with cheeks to die for, their tenderness for her, the light-filled apartment, the music as a reminder of their shared passion.

Perhaps when you put three artists in a room together, sparks fly and creativity comes easy. My guess is their sweet baby had much more to do with it. They warned me she doesn’t smile easily.

Really? I didn’t notice. 😉
