This wonderful family contacted me amidst a health crisis with their youngest. I received mom’s inquiry email while vacationing in Germany and was ready to book it home rather than miss an opportunity to capture their connection and those ties that bind. Thankfully they could wait a few weeks.

My heart was wrapped all around this family even before I met them. Then when I read on their contract mom’s description of her kids, I about melted. The oldest: “a gentle caretaker”, their little girl: “a firecracker – she just sparkles!”, their youngest: “his toothy grin lights up his whole face”. Each lived up to their mom’s loving observations and her words gave me a window into her beautiful heart.

By the evening of our session, their little guy had responded well to treatment and we spent a gorgeous summer night celebrating life and family in photos. I left them with a full heart, feeling like I’d known them much longer than the hour and a half we spent chasing chickens and light.
